The E.B. Bain Building was Raleigh's old waterworks plant, built in 1939. It was closed in 1987 and remained closed until a 12 artist collective spent almost a year turning the buidling into an art space. The building was opened to the public this past weekend for the show. There is 3.5 million dollars slated for renovating the building and eventually turning into a shops and galleries. I can't wait for that day!
